Chia pudding

Serves 2-4

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate milk
  • 1/4 cup honey or ágave nectar
  • 2 tbsp Kah Kow Chocodamia
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of pink salt
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds

Chia seeds are among the healthiest foods on the planet. They are loaded with nutrients that can have important benefits for your body and brain. This simple recipe using different flavours from Kah Kow is a perfect nutritious way to start the day or even to have as a healthy dessert.

Blend all of the ingredients except for the chia seeds in a high-speed blender until smooth. Place the chia seeds in a bowl and pour the mixture over the chia seeds. Cover and allow to soak in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. If the mixture is too thick, stir in a little extra coconut milk to loosen. To serve divide between bowls, sprinkle with Kah Kow nibs, your favourite fresh fruit and a scattering of fresh mint leaves.
